This morning at Mulberries and Willows Nursery we had a gentle buzz of appreciation as mums arrived to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Instead of the usual quick drop-off, the atmosphere felt a little slower, a little warmer, and a lot more relaxed.
A delicious selection of breakfast treats awaited them: pastries, fruit, toast, and hot cups of tea and coffee. For once, the mothers weren’t rushing off to the next task. It was a perfect moment for the mothers to pause and enjoy a rare moment of “me time.”
Conversations flowed easily between bites of breakfast. Some shared stories about their busy mornings.
We also took the opportunity to capture a Mother-and-child photo moment which came out beautifully.
To make the morning even more special, each mum received a small pick-me-up mini pamper gift, it was a thoughtful little treat to remind them to take a moment for themselves even on the busiest of days.
